Orlando Bloom in Moncler - New York Street Style

Orlando Bloom was pictured in the West Village of New York City on December 15th 2013. Orlando wore a wool and nylon hybrid jacket from Moncler, over black jogging bottoms and brown boots. A grey wool felt hat completed the somewhat eclectic look. Hybrid pieces seem all the rage this year. Orlando's Moncler jacket featured a quilted nylon upper half, attached to a wool tartan / plaid lower half. I am all for coloured outerwear but I can't quite get my head around the mixed materials. The felt hat seemed a little small (Miranda's?) and the jogging bottoms with the socks / elasticated bits, and boots all seemed a little too much.

I might need to go lie down for a bit.

Justin Theroux's Rick Owens asymmetric zip sweatshirt

Justin Theroux was pictured in Los Angeles on Saturday afternoon December 14th in Los Angeles.  Dressed in black (have we seen Justin in colours?), the actor was pictured leaving Emily Blunt's home after attending her baby shower. The cool, tough cookie image is very much Justin's thing, but perhaps soften up the hitman / assassin look while attending a baby shower? Justin wore a black leather jacket over his asymmetric zip hooded sweatshirt from Rick Owens. Black waxed denims, distressed boots, chunky ring (ooo nice), sunglasses and baseball hat completed the James Bond villain look. Bomb detonator on right hand sold separately.

Robin Thicke in Saint Laurent - Z100's Jingle Ball

Robin Thicke attended Z100's Jingle Ball 2013 at Madison Square Garden on December 13, 2013 in New York City. The "Blurred Lines" singer wore a leopard print blazer with contrasting lapels from Saint Laurent by Hedi Slimane, over a black shirt, trousers and shoes. He accessorised with a gold locket / chain, sunglasses and a beaming smile.

Not exactly sure what to make of this. On Friday, I tweeted that I bought two leopard print tops and a pair of leopard print sunglasses this week, and I thought I had a mid life crisis on my hands. Should there be an upper age limit on leopard print anything, skinny jeans and leather trousers? Or everything in moderation for a happy fulfilling life? The sunglasses looked a little silly indoors, but I actually did not dislike the look. For a stage performance, I thought that was a rather nice outfit. It looked pretty festive and he looked like he was having fun, which is always a plus.

What do you think? Should 36 years old Robin Thicke change his leopard spots?

Evangeline Lilly and Orlando Bloom attended the screening of "The Hobbit: The Desolation of Smaug" hosted by the Cinema Society and Moncler on December 11, 2013 in New York City. Orlando wore a blue cotton jacket from Lanvin featuring a shearling classic collar, a front zip fastening with a press stud fastening placket, epaulettes at the shoulders, flap pockets at the chest and front and a straight elasticated hem. He wore it over a black shirt, trousers and black shoes.

I have seen guys finishing their shifts at the restaurants and heading to the cinema in better garbs than this. I know I am being mean, but to head to a red carpet premiere in that is just... lazy? We featured Orlando Bloom on here numerous times, and we know he can do so much better. What's happening Orlando? Do you need a hug? (I still would).

薛之谦 in Agi & Sam x Topman - Album release Press Conference, Beijing

Chinese artiste 薛之谦 recently presented his new album in Beijing, China. 薛之谦 wore a turquoise all over nest print suit from Agi & Sam x Topman, over a buttoned up white shirt and black lace ups. He accessorised with a series of chunky rings on his hands. The suit was from British designers Agi & Sam's capsule collection for Topman, released earlier in the year. The idea for this collection started with London’s 2012 Olympics and the influence it had on their East London neighbourhood. This got them thinking about Britain’s best loved sport – football. Beginning with the concept of a club called The Owls, they designed a full sports kit boasting feather, egg shell and nesting inspired prints.

The turquoise all over nest print suit is quite possibly my favourite from the collection. The colours were exuberant, while I wouldn't wear the whole suit, the blazer would work really well with a simple shirt and trousers. The printed suit should work really well on stage, but I dislike the styling on 薛之谦. The trousers did not fit him well, he should not have buttoned the second suit button, and the black shoes were too heavy for the light and colourful suit. What do you think?

Prabal Gurung attended the 'American Hustle' screening at Ziegfeld Theatre on December 8, 2013 in New York City. The Nepalese American fashion designer wore a Junya Watanabe x Gloverall leather sleeve wool blend duffle coat, over a rather festive jumper. Interestingly, we featured Prabal back in 2011, in a similar print jacket from Junya Watanabe. Is he a fan of the Japanese designer? The gorgeous duffle coat featured ribbed, striped varsity-style trims and contrasting cream leather sleeves. Crafted in collaboration with Gloverall for their Fall Winter 2012 collection, the coat was constructed with a double-faced wool-blend fabric with a plaid lining. A really cool preppy coat, love this look especially at this festive time of the year.

James McAvoy and Sam Reid in Burberry - British Independent Film Awards 2013

James McAvoy and Sam Reid attended the British Independent Film Awards in London on 8th December 2013. James, who won 'Best Actor' for his role in 'Filth', wore Burberry tailoring for the event. He wore a dark grey suit, over a dove grey shirt with matching silk tie. The first thing I noticed was, the beard/moustache do not match his hair. Is that what they meant by the curtains not matching the carpet?

Australian actor Sam Reid also wore Burberry tailoring for the event. He wore a navy suit over a white shirt and matching silk tie. Though James won 'Best Actor', Sam definitely won the style stakes. Gorgeous side swept hair, a commanding presence and nice slim trousers. A little bit of shirt cuffs would be nice, but this man can sell me a suit anyday.

John Legend in Balmain - Alicia Keys Tour, Melbourne

John Legend performed in support of Alicia Keys at Rod Laver Arena on December 8, 2013 in Melbourne, Australia. I nearly fell off my chair when I read the description, surely it was a join concert and John was not a supporting act? John wore a wool and cotton blend military style coat from Balmain when he took to the stage, over a black t-shirt, trousers and side zipped shoes (Zanotti?). The coat seemed a little heavy for the performance, and John's bulging biceps really stretches the coat around the arms. Since when did having big guns became a problem? I love coats with crested buttons, even though the front zips were a little fussy.
